I say there is only one real steakhouse in Albuquerque, New Mexico and that is Vernon's. My wife and I went there for our anniversary. First off, the speakeasy experience was great. The service off the charts. The servers were informative and very descriptive of the food and drinks. I like a rare steak. In fact I like my steak Blue. So many Chefs and grill masters can't do blue. Well, mine came out PERFECT!!!. The sides were all perfect complements to what we each ordered. My wife is a picky and particular eater. She raved about everything. A woman hard to please when it comes to food. She wants to go back. That is good enough for me.
